SERU and Topographical practice plans

You are buying a period of access, not a single test. For as long as your access lasts you can sit every paper we have, as many times as you want, and your route plans are marked by a trainer every single time.

Not sure which one you need?

TfL sets two separate assessments. Which ones you sit depends on where you are in your licence application.

Your route plans go to a trainer, who marks them by hand and tells you exactly where the marks were lost. Booking both classes

Most new drivers sit both assessments. Message us and we will put you on a Sunday for SERU and a Thursday or Saturday for Topographical, and set up the online access for both at the same time. Places are limited because the groups are kept small, so please message before you travel.

Swarn House, 300 High Street, Acton, London W3 9BJ. Nearest station Acton Town.

What every online plan includes

The same whichever length you pick. The only thing that changes is how long you have.

Unlimited attempts Sit every paper again and again. Nothing is locked after one go.
Real marking, not a score You are told which answer was right and why, so the next attempt is better.
Two devices Your login works on a phone and a laptop, so you can practise anywhere.
A person to ask Stuck on something? Message us on WhatsApp and a trainer will answer.

Questions people ask before paying

When does my access start and finish?
It starts the moment your payment goes through, and runs for the number of days on the plan you picked, counted as whole calendar days. Your username and password are emailed to you straight away, and shown on screen once so you can write them down.
Do I have to sit both assessments?
If you are applying for a new PHV driver licence, TfL normally requires both the SERU and the Topographical Skills Assessment. If you are unsure what applies to you, message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly, even if the answer is that you only need one.
How quickly do route plans come back?
Within two working days, Monday to Friday. Every route plan is read and marked by a trainer. If your assessment date is closer than that, say so when you submit and we will do what we can, but we will not promise something we cannot deliver.
What do I need to practise on?
SERU practice works on a phone, a tablet or a computer. Topographical needs a laptop or computer with a mouse, because drawing a route with a finger on a phone is nothing like the real assessment, and practising it that way would not help you.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within the terms set out in our refund policy. If something on our side goes wrong, for example the site is down for part of your access period, tell us and we will add the days back or refund you.
Will this guarantee I pass?
No, and be careful of anyone who says otherwise. We are an independent training provider and we are not connected to Transport for London. What we can do is give you the same kind of questions, the same time limits and honest marking, so that nothing on the day is a surprise.

Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Still deciding? Message us on WhatsApp or call 020 3642 8555.
